Wesley Brough a.k.a. (Cabosurfcaster) and his family moved to Mexico and ventured down the Baja Peninsula as missionaries more than 40 years ago. Wes started fishing off the beach with his dad and younger brother when he was around four years old. He did lots of spearfishing growing up, but the love of surf fishing drew him in even more until he started to guide when he was only 16. Wes has now been guiding for more than 20 years and has been fortunate enough to meet all kinds of people from all over the world. He has also traveled and fished in a number of places around the US, as well as Australia, Colombia, and Fiji. He holds the IGFA All-tackle World Record for Pacific White Snook, and has filmed and guided with National Geographic; and for award winning NBC Sports TV show, Fish the Baja.
Most mornings, you can find Wes chasing roosterfish down the beach or whatever he and his clients can get on the line!
