Chris Donato

Chris Donato is tabbed with landing French Polynesia's first "grander" blue marlin, which he boated off Samoa back in 2013.  Chris moved his operation from Samoa to Kona, HI in 2016 and has quickly become one of Kona's popular charter vessels.  Chris runs the pristine 37' Merritt BENCHMARK.   Accomplishments:  First ever “Grander” caught in Samoa and current all-tackle record for Upolu [Samoa] – 1025 lb. Blue Marlin; Samoan all-tackle wahoo record.
