Sydney Melcher is a Florida native that grew up on the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Although Sydney loves to fish, spearfishing is her specialty. She has spent many days on the water freediving and spearfishing with her dad and brother in the Gulf of Mexico, Florida Keys and the Bahamas. They have also participated and won in multiple tournaments. Last summer, Sydney was able to shoot her first bluefin tuna off the coast of California! Aside from being on the water, Sydney plays competitive beach volleyball and has earned herself a college scholarship playing for Florida Southern College.
